Charity and Corporate Sponsors Touch Lives of At-Risk Citizens

At RMC Water and Environment, a California environmental firm, giving back to the community is a key part of doing business. RMC Water and Environment employees have contributed time and resources to local charities throughout the state. In San Jose, the company has supported InnVision (IVSN), a shelter network, which serves the region’s homeless population.

Each night, IVSN serves more than 1,000 people, including many children, at its shelter locations. While a core focus of the organization is guiding individuals on a path to self-sufficiency, the organization also provides programs to boost clients’ morale and spirit. One such program is an annual holiday giving program, which grants gift wishes to at-risk and homeless people served by INVSN. Through this program, local corporate sponsors adopt individuals and provide requested gift items. In 2013, RMC San Jose provided gifts such as food and clothing gift cards to adopted IVSN gift recipients.

Through these programs, IVSN and its corporate partners touch the lives of at-risk residents of San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. Other IVSN services include case management, education, and health and wellness.
