RMC Water and Environment is an environmental engineering company that specializes in projects relating to water. Over the years, RMC Water and Environment and its affiliated programs and services have received numerous awards and honors, including the 2015 Planning Honor Award.

The Planning Honor Award, given annually by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AAEES), was issued to RMC in recognition of its efforts on the third phase of the North Valley Regional Recycled Water Program in Patterson, California. The project will allow approximately 59,000 acre-feet of recycled water to reach San Joaquin Valley wildlife refuges each year. RMC received the honor at the AAEES awards luncheon in Washington, DC.

The Planning Honor Award is one of nine awards given each year by the AAEES in separate areas of environmental engineering and science. Additional award categories include operations and management, university research, design, environmental sustainability, and industrial waste practice.
