Environmental engineering company RMC Water and Environment recently received green business certification from the Irvine Chamber of Commerce in California. This recognition of RMC Water and Environment came shortly after an RMC project earned an award from an important nonprofit association in California.
RMC’s North Valley Regional Recycled Water Program Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) was named the recipient of the 2016 Outstanding Environmental Analysis Document Award by the California Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP). This award is given to special projects and organizations, both public and private, that uphold the standards of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
The North Valley Regional Recycled Water Program EIR/EIS can provide state and federal conservation land with upwards of 59,000 acre-feet of recycled water each year. A collaboration between RMC and Horizon Water and Environment, the project was aided by support from the Del Puerto Water District, the Bureau of Reclamation, and the cities of Turlock and Modesto.
